ITAC Climate Collective, June Newsletter

Turning Climate Action into Legacy. This is a special invitation to members of the Climate Collective to contribute an activity, workshop, or warm-up to the project.

Activities will be added to a dedicated resource bank housed on the ITAC website and will be accessible to teaching artists around the world, serving as inspiration as they take another important step toward collective climate action.

Activities can be designed for any age, population, and setting and can be submitted in any media, including written step-by-step instruction, video, audio, photo essay, graphic storyboard, etc.

Here is an example of how and where activities will be housed!

keep creating impact!

PURPOSE:

After working together for over two years, we are ready to conclude our Climate Collective journey with a cumulative impact! That’s why we extend an official invitation to become part of its lasting legacy. The campaign seeks to celebrate and reward our community’s creativity, cultural expression, and educational enhancement, that are the foundation of our vibrant collective.

Through this initiative, we acknowledge the remarkable efforts of our members in raising awareness and advocating for the value and impact of Teaching Artistry in climate crisis response. Our ultimate goal is to establish a long-standing legacy resource that can be shared and inspire #ClimateAction.

We are creating a dedicated web page and resource bank that will showcase all the workshops, warm up games and skill development activities proposed in the Climate Collective, alongside an archive of  the Professional Development Sessions. This comprehensive resource will serve as a hub for knowledge-sharing, empowering teaching artists to access valuable tools and insights.

Join us in this endeavor as we celebrate and promote the innovative spirit of teaching artists, while highlighting the crucial role they play in addressing the climate emergency. Together, let's build a legacy that inspires positive change and nurtures a sustainable future.
