Creativity, Giving and receiving feedback. Collaboration. Intention.
As Teaching Artists, we excel in cultivating these skills and nurturing them within our schools and community organizations. However, the value of these skills extends far beyond the arts. Business leaders and executive teams are actively seeking new approaches to management training, and Teaching Artists possess a unique opportunity to provide a solution.
During this dynamic 90-minute session, participants engaged in insightful discussions about adapting their existing presentations, developing new content, and effectively marketing themselves to business audiences. They also benefited from immersive small group scenario workshops, personalized feedback, and the opportunity to form accountability partners or groups. These activities supported a sense of closure by defining clear action steps to turn intentions into reality.
Moreover, the group explored the formation of a "Teaching Artistry in the Business World" working group. This dedicated team would undertake the task of creating a comprehensive how-to guide for Teaching Artists seeking to expand their work into business settings. Members of the working group would orchestrate the creation, deployment, and analysis of surveys targeted at teaching artists and business leaders. They would also test prototype sessions and meticulously evaluate feedback, ultimately compiling a repository of best practices for future endeavors. Participants in the working group will have the opportunity to self-register for specific tasks, ensuring that individual workloads are tailored to their preferences and abilities.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
