Bea Makan is a dynamic multidisciplinary artist with a captivating blend of Hungarian and Scottish heritage. Based in the vibrant art scene of Edinburgh, Makan delves deep into the profound interplay between art and the human mind, unveiling a rich tapestry of exploration.
With a diverse range of creative expressions spanning poetry, figurative compositions, and abstract creations, Makan expertly crafts narratives that enthrall the imagination and challenge conventional perceptions. Makan has worked with the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh as Associate Artist on projects helping young people with mental health.
Currently embarking on her second year of study in HND Contemporary Art Practice at Edinburgh College, she looks forward to a future of health in the arts, later pursuing a Masters Msc in Art Pshycotherapy.
