ITAC’s Managing Director Madeleine McGirk Rutherford with Curious Minds’ Chief Executive Derri Burdon and Director of Inclusion & Workforce Development Saphena Aziz at The Northern Cultural Education Awards 2024, hosted by Curious Minds on Friday, May 24, 2024. This Awards programme aims to shine a light on best practice, innovation and activism in the field of creative and cultural education, wherever it is happening across the North of England.

"It is an absolute honour and privilege for Curious Minds to be the England ITAC HUB. To support and develop the field of Teaching Artists in England whilst elevating the value of this work within the arts and cultural sector, nationally and internationally, is something we are deeply passionate about.

Since 2008, Curious Minds has been connecting children and young people, teachers and youth workers with incredible artists and creative practitioners; giving them access to information, expertise, space and resources to facilitate collaboration and innovation in the field of creative and cultural education. Being an ITAC Hub will help to build this work within an international context."
