Work with us to design or deliver your approach to community engagement and impact!
ITAC partners with ongoing initiatives to enhance or design their social engagement and impact goals. Teaching Artists are experts at designing and developing ways in which artistic experiences can be used to explore complex topics and generate community engagement and impact. As the home of this sector, ITAC is able to draw on this wisdom to support your initiatives as you plan or aim towards meaningful community-based work.
We are ready to connect our members with projects who are seeking their insights and collaborate with you on embedding this thinking in your work.
Since 2022 ITAC has partnered with opera singer Joyce DiDonato, to design and deliver EDEN Engagement, the community impact strand of her EDEN tour. The EDEN concert explores concepts of environmental awareness and climate consciousness and aimed to embed impact deep into the tour. To realise this mission, and foster community engagement, ITAC was brought on to create the accompanying Engagement framework, where Teaching Artistry is used as a central tool for creating lasting impact alongside a fine arts tour. We recruit local Teaching Artist in each tour city, and work with them to create bespoke context-specific curricula for youth choirs. This model has now engaged over 2,000 young people across EDEN's tour cities and the positive impact has been significant.
