We’re thrilled to share news about ITAC8!
This August 28–30, teaching artists, educators, performers, cultural leaders, researchers, and changemakers from more than 35 countries will gather in Antwerp for what promises to be one of the most exciting international gatherings of the year. Across three days, participants can choose from more than 100 sessions, with 30+ workshops, performances, keynotes, panels, and conversations taking place each day.
In Antwerp, ITAC8 will join forces with the World Children’s and Youth Performing Arts Festival to form LOUDER TOGETHER, a unique “congrestival” that brings together the energy of an international festival and the depth of a global conference. This dynamic collaboration creates opportunities for exchange, discovery, and unexpected connections between artists, educators, performers, and cultural leaders from around the world.

What awaits you at ITAC8:
- Participatory workshops, keynotes, panels, and discussions led by artists, educators, and thought leaders from around the world
- Sessions exploring arts and education, arts and health, care, climate action, storytelling, community engagement, and civic participation
- International performances and artistic experiences across multiple venues throughout Antwerp
- Opportunities to exchange ideas, build relationships, and connect with colleagues from a truly global network

- Transform Art and Science: Building Butterflies, Performing Puppets, Forming Social Connection workshop led by Katrin Ludwig
- Feeling at Home: The Importance of Stories keynote from Winny Ang
- The Role of Trusted Adults and Attachment in Youth Theater session led by Clara Bloomfield
- Hauscat: Echoes of the Diaspora session led by Naide Brito
- Non-Violence as Art keynote from Chen Alon and Sulaiman Khatib
