Ines Sanguinetti

Crear vale la pena

President

President & Artistic Director of Fundación Crear Vale la Pena.

She is the creator of the renowned methodology Entornos Creativos – Escuela & Comunidad, which fosters social transformation by using creativity as a tool within the school curriculum, particularly benefiting young people, educators, and communities in vulnerable contexts. Each year, Entornos Creativos reaches over 60,000 young people and trains 2,000 educators and health promoters.

Her methodology has been recognized by the World Bank, OAS, and OEI as one of the 13 most innovative pedagogical experiences in Latin America. In Argentina, academic research conducted by the University of San Andrés and FLACSO has demonstrated its impact, and it has been declared of Educational Interest by the governments of Buenos Aires and Azul, as well as by the National Senate.

She served as Director of the National Arts Fund and is currently a board member of the International Teaching Artist Collaborative (ITAC), the first global network of artists working in educational and community settings. Her main focus today is the dissemination of this methodology in Argentina and internationally through workshops and conferences, both virtual and in-person

“I believe that proactive social artistry networks must urge governments to develop new cultural public policies—ones that extend state responsibilities beyond fine arts to embrace community-based cultural expressions. Over time, this movement will strengthen citizenship through affective bonds and nurturing environments, bringing individuals and groups together in a collective demand for a more inclusive and participatory democracy.”
